About the practice:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to join us at Martin and Carr Veterinary practice. Our great and enthusiastic clinical team consists of 11 vets (Including 3 certificate holders) 8 nurses and 1 VCA. The practice has 3 Surgeries, with the main one being in the beautiful town of Pershore, just north of the Cotswolds in South Worcestershire. We have easy road network links to M5, Birmingham and Cheltenham.
Martin and Carr is a very friendly, high standard, small animal practice. We pride ourselves as a first opinion team that fully works up medical cases and performs advanced surgical procedures e.g., TPLO’s, CCWO, and other orthopaedic surgeries.
The Pershore practice is very well equipped with laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental suite (including dental radiography) and an in-house laboratory.
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate RVN nurse to join our friendly, relaxed and supportive team. We are looking for an RVN who is focused on delivering a high standard of nursing care to the patients, assist the veterinary surgeons and liaise with clients. The role involves a 38 hour week over 5 days with 2 in 5 Saturdays. Our vets carry out our own OOH work on site and we work on a rota basis. You will be working alongside other qualified nurses to ensure that RCVS practice standards are maintained.
The successful candidate must be a qualified RVN ideally with experience at working in small animal practice in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be a conscientious team player eager to provide excellent levels of care to patients and clients.
