We are pleased to be able to offer fourth and fifth year veterinary students a residential placement within our surgery for one or two week blocks.
We only accept students who have taken this test: http://www.vet.ed.ac.uk/ems_driving_licence/
Free accommodation will be on site in the newly created residential suite, with a private bedroom and shared lounge and kitchen.
One of our vets is resident in this accommodation.
We are a mixed practice with a small animal bias. (95% small animal practice)
We have a wide case load and enthusiastic veterinary surgeons who enjoy sharing their passion for the job.
We enjoy all aspects of practice and have superb facilities including video endoscopy rigid and flexible, and this year we are introducing a laparoscopic service.
The practice is a friendly environment and if you are interested in a placement then Tom Carr can be contacted on martinandcarrvets@yahoo.co.uk for further information.
The aim of our student placement scheme is to allow individuals to see for real what the practice has to offer, perhaps away from your 'home practice' and we hope the availability of free accommodation will make this accessable to you all.
Take a look at our practice tour and see what we have to offer.
